Happy Moments

Poems by R.v.B are my original works. Among which I reblog things that make me feel something special.

When I end, I will end as a tree ends: as a fire, bleeding out the sunlight from every summer it lived.

So do not judge me yet.

You have only seen, how I begin.

Loud from its rocky caverns, the deep-voiced neighbouring ocean
Speaks, and in accents disconsolate answers the wail of the forest.

Softly the Angelus sounded; and over the roofs of the Village columns of pale blue smoke, like clouds of incense ascending, rose from a hundred hearths, the homes of peace and contentment.

- Excerpts from the poems of Longfellow

I recommend this book to anyone and everyone.
What a thought-provoking book.
Mankind needs to reconsider his role.

"I find myself caught
Between empathy and reality
My blood mother and mother earth"

This is my life today

Sorry Canadian friends <3

"Sometimes I look around me
at all the young people
intensely studying
and then I remember how messed up society actually is
and how connected I am to all the dysfunction
and I wonder what would happen
if I left University
and found myself a group of people
who are actually actively living in way
that promotes improvement of our society
and it makes me curious…
and a little bit sad
and contributes to my uncertainty
as to whether or not I’ll come back here in the Fall."

- Sometimes

"I don’t have to define myself by my past"

- me

oughoughough if there is a heaven, I will be able to play this there.
