Happy Moments

Poems by R.v.B are my original works. Among which I reblog things that make me feel something special.

"Sometimes I look around me
at all the young people
intensely studying
and then I remember how messed up society actually is
and how connected I am to all the dysfunction
and I wonder what would happen
if I left University
and found myself a group of people
who are actually actively living in way
that promotes improvement of our society
and it makes me curious…
and a little bit sad
and contributes to my uncertainty
as to whether or not I’ll come back here in the Fall."

- Sometimes

"I don’t have to define myself by my past"

- me

oughoughough if there is a heaven, I will be able to play this there.

"You’re afraid to die, and you’re afraid to live, what a way to exist"

"Let your food be your medicine, and let your medicine be your food." —Hippocrates, the father of Western medicine

Roommate tells me that she chose her degree because she just wanted something that would help her achieve her main priorities.

What are those?

She just wants to be able to contribute to her parents being able to have a comfortable retirement.

I don’t think I have ever considered my parents needs ever in my entire life. I am a selfish little fuck hahaha

- Perspective

"There is so much power in letting go. When we hold on to things that are no longer serving us or being served by us in a positive way, we are blocking up the space in our lives, where, instead, we could be open and free to new, even greater experiences."
